I have always loved beautiful cups, teapots and serving bowls. It adds so much to the experience of drinking tea or eating (cakes). Since I've started making pottery I am really enjoying painting all kinds of vessels, and filling them with flowers or painting cakes on them.

Gradually more and more scenes of tables with vases, cups and bowls are appearing in my paintings.

With my favourite colors they can bring a lot of joy and energy into a home. And at the same time there is this cosiness and everyday feeling to them that I believe gives us a  sense of belonging and appreciation for the everyday life.
